Our research associate Noshin Tasnim, with co-author Abu Darda Mahfuz, won the Best Presenter Award (Poster) at the RURS 2nd International Conference and Research Fair 2026 (RICRF 2026).

The conference was held at Rajshahi University on October 1 and 2. It drew more than 800 submissions across 8 tracks, and just over 140 reached the final nomination list.

Their poster, “Negotiating Modernity: AI, Sustainable Development and Indigenous Identity Among the Khasia Punji of Sylhet,” took top honors in the Social Science, Law and Development Studies track.

Congratulations to Noshin and Mahfuz.
