Nijam receives the Future SDGs Champion Award in Bangkok

Our Senior Researcher, Md. Nijam Uddin Sarkar, represented Uplift Probe as a funded delegate at the Future Action Summit 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 21 to 24.

He worked alongside officials from UNDP, UNICEF and UNHCR, domain experts and fellow delegates to exchange knowledge and design solutions together.

On days two and three he proposed and presented two resolution ideas. For SDG 4 (Quality Education): an AI-driven, community-based hub platform to reduce education disparities among marginalized communities. For SDG 13 (Climate Action): a tree-analogous approach to uncover the latent factors driving deforestation beyond textbook narratives.

For these proposals he was honored with the Future SDGs Champion Award.
