In the field: rainwater harvesting in Satkhira

On 3 and 4 June 2025, one of our team members joined a field team in Satkhira, Bangladesh, studying the challenges and techniques of rainwater harvesting.

The team visited several households and carried out Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to understand local practices and obstacles.

They also collected rainwater samples for laboratory testing. The results will show the quality of harvested rainwater and help identify workable answers to water scarcity.
